Here is the sixth booklet in the series on Daniel J. Harris, the founder of Fairhaven, WA. It presents the known details of his marriage at the age of fifty-two to Bertha L Wasmer, age twenty eight. Due to Bertha's death in 1888, the marriage was brief. The fact that she filed for divorce a few days before the couple's first anniversary indicates that union was far from happy. What little is known about Bertha, her family and the marriage itself is presented in the following pages. I hope that you will enjoy reading each one.
